JO NESBØ, 58, is the Norwegian novelist who created the bestselling series of crime novels featuring Harry Hole. They include The Snowman, recently made into a film, The Redbreast and The Thirst. His latest novel Macbeth, a reworking of Shakespeare's play , is out now.
