Orchestra of the Royal Opera House review: Occasionally restrained but reasonably priced
DESCRIBED by Music Director Antonio Pappano as “The one chance in a year that the orchestra is up here rather than down there,” the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House on stage at Covent Garden last week certainly provided a marked contrast with the conditions under which they usually play in the cramped orchestra pit under the stage.
