Five months ago, Hampstead Theatre staged The Fever Syndrome with Robert Lindsay as a medical expert celebrating an award with his family. I bemoaned the yawnsomely predictable parade of characters - egomaniac alpha male, longsuffering wife and brattish children including a troubled gay son and shrill daughter - incessantly airing their tedious, privileged angst.
