JOHN WAYNE had to be held down by a six-man strong security team at the Academy Awards. The furious Western star wanted to rush on stage during Marlon Brando's Best Actor Oscar win for The Godfather and drag off Native American activist Sacheen Littlefeather who he'd sent to decline the gong.
