JOHN LENNON died 39 years ago today after he was shot by Mark Chapman as he returned to his New York home with his wife Yoko Ono. In an unearthed interview for the documentary The Day John Lennon Died, Ono opened up about a decision the couple made that night, insisting nothing would have changed had they not arrived at their home when they did.
