European Union responsible for ‘extinction domino effect’ among frogs, study warns

Between 2010 and 2019, a whopping 40,057 tons of frogs' legs - taken from some 2 billion of the amphibians - were imported into the European Union. While Belgium is the main importer, French is the main consumer of the culinary delicacy, researchers report.
