Most artists of Bob Dylan's vintage have long abandoned the road. Heck, most of them are dead. Those that do manage to drag themselves back out on tour usually end up pulling together some formulaic greatest hits bore fests that they know their ageing fans will pay over the odds for just to tick off another column on their bucket lists.
