PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN would not be as successful as it is today without the star-studded cast, led by the incredible Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. However it has been revealed the role of William Turner was almost given to an Oscar-winning Batman actor, who starred in The Dark Knight.
