Peter James has lost the plot over Roy Grace. On the back cover, Find Them Dead boasts that it is "A Detective Superintendent Roy Grace Novel". But it's not, not really. It has elements of Roy Grace - the ever patient Cleo, check; weird German son Bruno, check; faithful dog Humphrey, check; banter with best mate Glenn Branson, check and arguments with ACC Cassian Pewe, Roy's boss, check.
