Government receives MAJOR boost to its plans to test 100,000 people per day for COVID-19

THE GOVERNMENT'S pledge to hit 100,000 coronavirus tests per day by the end of April received a major boost, after two British pharmaceutical companies announced they were teaming up with academics from Cambridge University to develop new tests for the coronavirus.
