Beginning review: Ambassadors theatre - London
A WEEK after Theresa May appointed a Minister for Loneliness, David Eldridge’s Beginning proves to be as timely as it is excellent. Loneliness, “the 21st-century curse”, is often regarded as a problem for older, isolated people but, as Eldridge shows, it also affects younger people with high-powered jobs and a network of friends.
