DYSTOPIAN fiction has been a strong theme in 2017. From the hugely successful TV production of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale to reports that sales of George Orwell’s classic 1984 have increased by 10,000 per cent, it seems we can’t get enough of terrifying imaginings of a future gone wrong. Gather The Daughters is about a future gone wrong.
