FOR singer Marty Wilde, 2017 is shaping up to be a year he’ll never forget. Not only is Britain’s original home-grown, rock ’n’ roll heart-throb celebrating his 60th year in showbiz but last month he was awarded an MBE for his services to music and in October will embark on a UK-wide tour at the age of 78.
